How We Serve
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
|Operation Christmas Child|
We love kids at CCBC, and that's why we are strong supporters of Operation Christmas Child. Throughout the year, we collect items to fill up shoeboxes that will be sent to kids around the world. On a Sunday night in November, many of us gather to pack the shoeboxes. Follow the link below to see photos of our most recent packing party.
Teens in grades 7-12 have a home in Cartledge Creek's ministry to youth. Headed up by our youth pastor and guided by passionate adult volunteers, they meet twice weekly in the church building, frequently serve together in our local community, and head out on the road for summer mission camps and the occasional concert. Contact Nathan if you're interested in joining us.
|Ministry to Seniors|
That wiser, young-at-heart segment of our Cartledge Creek population loves to get together for fellowship - especially if a short road trip and good food is involved. We love serving a Valentine's Day meal to the widows of our church, and the Christmas party is always a memory maker.
At Cartledge Creek, you'll find a wide variety of musical preferences, and so you'll find a fair amount of variety in our musical styles. Be it with organ and piano or guitar and drums, our goal is to encourage people with Christ-centered lyrics to worship God in Spirit and Truth. Love to sing in a choir? We've got a chair for you to join us for practice on Sunday nights at 7. Have an instrumental talent you'd like to share? We want to hear it! Contact ... more
